This robotic looking duo is what makes up the band Daft Punk, a band that has gained quite the fan following by playing their own Electronic/Dance flavor of music. Their recent work being the soundtrack to the latest movie Tron: Legacy, which I would highly recommend getting that soundtrack, followed by other really outstanding albums like Discovery, Human After All, and Homework has made an impression into our music. Combining these musical successes with their costumes and their liking of not revealing their true faces has created quite the following. Along with great music and unique looks, they’re use of visuals for concerts are both quite pleasing and astounding and I would encourage you to try to see them live. They’re music has been used for a good amount of sampling and covering, one the more popular one of these being “Stronger” by Kanye West feat. Daft Punk. Their musical legacy has led them into having a nice amount of appearances in their very well-known outfits throughout our media and has made an impression on it as well. Daft Punk is one of those bands that you should at least try out and listen to sometime, even if Electronic/Dance isn’t normally your kind of musical taste or liking.
