Well, after a bit of things (like listening to music, “enjoying” the weather, and other things of the sorts.) I came to realization that I didn’t have an exact way of defining how good an album is after reviewing it. So, I’ve been trying to think up a 1 out of 10 rating system on multiple areas of importance. So far, there’s quality (obviously needed), Sound, and uniqueness. Now what do I mean by quality, sound, and uniqueness, eh? Well, here’s a quick run-down:
Quality:
This is simply meaning how a band’s playing quality is. As we all know, if a band just plays bad, they won’t get any attention, except for maybe a few (that’s right, I’m glaring at you My Chemical Romance, or at least at alot of your original/starting stuff).
Sound:
Sound is important (of course, that’s why people love music). This is pretty much meaning is the sound something that is enjoyable, not some carbon copy of playing and shows a tinge of their style to it.
Uniqueness:
Pretty much saying what makes this album stand out compared to their other ones, what gives it a kind of, you know, kick to it. Is it themed to something, or does any kind of under-tones or between the line kind of thinking to it. Along with being able to tell and notice that they do if they do something like this.
